Little Seed, Big Growth Community Garden
Little Seeds, Big Growth is a family-centered community garden program designed to bring children and families together through hands-on gardening, outdoor exploration, and nature-based learning at the Estes Valley Community Garden. Families will have opportunities to plant, explore, learn, and grow together while building confidence, creativity, teamwork, and healthy habits in a fun and welcoming environment.

We are excited to share that we are beginning recruitment for our upcoming Summer Program, as well as additional general events throughout the season.
Our Summer Program will take place weekly on Wednesdays from 6:00–8:00 PM in Rocky Mountain National Park, running from June 3 through August 2. This program offers a wonderful opportunity to engage with families, support community connection, and enjoy the outdoors during the summer months.

Peak Climbers Program
Peak Climbers Program
EVICS is excited to partner with Mountain Shop and KMAC Guides to offer the Peak Climbers Program, a unique opportunity for youth and families to build confidence, learn new skills, and experience the outdoors through climbing and adventure.
Jr. Peak Climbers (Ages 2–6)
Designed for young children and their caregivers, this program encourages confidence, coordination, and a love for outdoor movement through age-appropriate climbing activities and exploration.
Peak Climbers (Ages 7–18)
Participants will develop climbing skills, teamwork, outdoor safety knowledge, and self-confidence while taking on new challenges and adventures in a supportive environment.

Childbirth Classes
Classes are made up of two parts each, and we offer four different sessions scheduled around due dates to fit your needs. All classes run from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM and are facilitated by Kendra Vancil, PTA and DONA-trained Doula, and Lesta Johnson, RN, MSN, IBCLC.

Kids, Kids, Kids: Bike, Run, Fun!
Join us for a morning full of movement, laughter, and family fun at Kids, Kids, Kids: Bike, Run, Fun! Hosted during the Estes Park Marathon & Half Marathon weekend, this exciting community event is designed just for kids and families to enjoy active play, biking, running, games, and more.
This event is organized by EVICS and the Estes Park High School Cross Country Team, and hosted by the Estes Park Running Club.

Join us this April for Mom’s Café Wellness Month, a special series dedicated to supporting and celebrating moms in our community! Each Monday, we will host a wellness-focused activity designed to give you time to relax, recharge, and connect with other moms.

Find free clothing, shoes, and seasonal items for infants, toddlers, and early school-age children. Our Kids Closet offers clean, gently used garments and accessories arranged by size to make shopping quick and easy for busy families.

Self-Defense class for Moms!!!
You’re invited: Self-Defense for Moms Day
Join us for a practical, empowering self-defense workshop designed specifically for moms. Learn situational awareness, simple physical techniques, and de-escalation strategies that fit real-life parenting schedules and concerns. Instructors are experienced, trauma-informed, and focused on confidence-building and safety.

Free childcare provided Bring your children—free supervised childcare will be available during the session so you can participate with peace of mind. Please arrive 10 minutes early to check children in.

NERF GUN DAY
You’re invited to a Nerf Gun War!
Who: Kids ages 7–12
What: Fun, safe Nerf gun battle with games, teams, and prizes
When: Saturday, April 18 • 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Where: EVICS Family Resource Center Gym
What to bring: Nerf blasters (optional), extra darts, and a water bottle
Provided: Safety goggles, extra darts, team bandanas, and snacks
Rules & Safety:
Safety goggles required at all times on the play field
No aiming at the face or head
No slam-firing or modified blasters that may cause injury
Follow referees’ instructions and team boundaries
Parents must sign a waiver at check-in
